Islam doesn't believe in freedom in religion? Mecca vs Medina Verses?

Quran believe in freedom in religion. Makiyah and Madaniyah verses support that.

MECCAN VERSES :

# NOW [as for thee, O Muhammad,] We have not sent thee otherwise than to mankind at large, to be a herald of glad tidings and a warner; but most people do not understand

# And We have not sent you, [O Muhammad], except as a mercy to the worlds, Say, "It is only revealed to me that your god is but one God; so will you be Muslims [in submission to Him]?" But if they turn away, then say, "I have announced to [all of] you equally. And I know not whether near or far is that which you are promised

# To You Your Religion and To Me Mine

# Proclaim: "This is the truth from your Lord," then whoever wills let him believe, and whoever wills let him disbelieve

# Whoever chooses to follow the right path, follows it but for his own good; and whoever goes astray, goes but astray to his own hurt; and no bearer of burdens shall be made to bear another" burden.

"Now then, for that (reason), call (them to the Faith), and stand steadfast as thou art commanded, nor follow thou their vain desires; but say:   'I believe in the Book which God has sent down; and I am commanded to judge justly between you. God is our Lord and your Lord: for us (is the responsibility for) our deeds, and for you for your deeds. There is no contention between us and you. God will bring us together, and to Him is (our) Final Goal.'"

MEDINA VERSES

# Those WHO BELIEVE THEN DISBELIEVE, AGAIN BELIEVE AND AGAIN DISBELIEVE, then increase in disbelief, Allah will never forgive them nor guide them in the (right) way.

# But if they turn away, [O Muhammad], say, "Sufficient for me is Allah ; there is no deity except Him. On Him I have relied, and He is the Lord of the Great Throne.

# The Messenger’s duty is but to proclaim the Message.

# Thus, [O Prophet,] if they argue with thee, say, "I have surrendered my whole being unto God, and [so have] all who follow me!" - and ask those who have been vouchsafed revelation aforetime, as well as all unlettered people, "Have you [too] surrendered yourselves unto Him?" And if they surrender themselves unto Him, they are on the right path; but if they turn away - behold, thy duty is no more than to deliver the message: for God sees all that is in [the hearts of] His creatures.

# There is no compulsion in religion. The right direction is henceforth distinct from error. And he who rejecteth false deities and believeth in God hath grasped a firm handhold which will never break.

In case you are wondering here are passages from the Bible regarding same situation

# Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a SWORD. (Matthew 10:34)
# I have come to set fire to the earth, and I only wish it were already burning (Luke 12:49)

 # Do you think I came to bring PEACE on earth? NO, I tell you, but division. From now on there will be five in one family divided against each other, three against two and two against three.  (Luke 12:51)

# Now, as for those enemies of mine who did not want me to be their KING, bring them here and KILL them in my presence! (Luke 19:27) (PS: In the parable of Ten Minas : Jesus is the King, and those who should be killed are the Jews)

# If your very own brother, or your son or daughter, or the wife you love, or your closest friend secretly entices you, saying, "Let us go and worship other gods" .. You must certainly put them to death. Your hand must be the first in putting them to death, and then the hands of all the people. Stone them to death ..(Deuteronomy 13 :7)

# Suppose you hear in one of the towns the LORD your God is giving you that some worthless rabble among you have led their fellow citizens astray by encouraging them to worship foreign gods.  Put the entire town to the torch as a burnt offering to the LORD your God. “The LORD your God will be merciful only if you obey him and keep all the commands I am giving you today, doing what is pleasing to him.” (Deuteronomy 13:13-19 NLT)
