Disturbing image If Jesus were God of Old Testament

Some people still claim that Jesus is the God of Old Testament. Although Jesus never said so. In fact, Jesus repeatedly say that he is just a servant of God. Ironically those who say Jesus is God of Old Testament is those who say that Jesus is a prince of peace. Little do they know that by attributing the God of OT to Jesus means they also say Jesus is a slayer of babies, women, and children.

Do you seriously think Jesus was behind the slaying of babies, women and children?

"Follow him through the city and kill everyone whose forehead is not marked. Show no mercy; have no pity! Kill them all old and young, girls and women and little children. But do not touch anyone with the mark. Begin your task right here at the Temple." So they began by killing the seventy leaders. "Defile the Temple!" the LORD commanded. "Fill its courtyards with the bodies of those you kill! Go!"

They entered into a covenant to seek the Lord, the God of their fathers, with all their heart and soul; and everyone who would not seek the Lord, the God of Israel, was to be put to death, whether small or great, whether man or woman.

Go, now, attack Amalek, and deal with him and all that he has under the ban. Do not spare him, but kill men and women, children and infants, oxen and sheep, camels and asses

"Go up, my warriors, against the land of Merathaim and against the people of Pekod. Yes, march against Babylon, the land of rebels, a land that I will judge! Pursue, kill, and completely destroy them, as I have commanded you,"

Anyone who is captured will be run through with a sword. Their little children will be dashed to death right before their eyes. Their homes will be sacked and their wives raped by the attacking hordes. For I will stir up the Medes against Babylon, and no amount of silver or gold will buy them off. The attacking armies will shoot down the young people with arrows. They will have no mercy on helpless babies and will show no compassion for the children.

If even then you remain hostile toward me and refuse to obey, I will inflict you with seven more disasters for your sins. I will release wild animals that will kill your children and destroy your cattle, so your numbers will dwindle and your roads will be deserted.

Make ready to slaughter his sons for the guilt of their fathers; Lest they rise and posses the earth, and fill the breadth of the world with tyrants.

If your own full brother, or your son or daughter, or your beloved wife, or you intimate friend, entices you secretly to serve other gods, whom you and your fathers have not known, gods of any other nations, near at hand or far away, from one end of the earth to the other: do not yield to him or listen to him, nor look with pity upon him, to spare or shield him, but kill him.

How blessed will be the one who repays you With the recompense with which you have repaid us. How blessed will be the one who seizes and dashes your little ones Against the rock.

They will fall by the sword, Their little ones will be dashed in pieces, And their pregnant women will be ripped open.

"I also will do this unto you... You shall sow your seed in vain, for your enemies shall eat it."

"And ye shall eat the flesh of your sons, and the flesh of your daughters shall ye eat." --

"And toward her young one that cometh out from between her feet, and toward her children which she shall bear: for she shall eat them."

"And I will cause them to eat the flesh of their sons and the flesh of their daughters, and they shall eat every one the flesh of his friend."

"Therefore the fathers shall eat the sons in the midst of thee, and the sons shall eat their fathers."

"I will not feed you: that that dieth, let it die; and that that is to be cut off, let it be cut off; and let the rest eat every one the flesh of another."
.
"This woman said unto me, Give thy son, that we may eat him to day, and we will eat my son to morrow. So we boiled my son, and did eat him: and I said unto her on the next day, Give thy son, that we may eat him."

"The hands of the pitiful women have sodden their own children: they were their meat."

"Who pluck off their skin from off them, and their flesh from off their bones; Who also eat the flesh of my people, and flay their skin from off them; and they break their bones, and chop them in pieces, as for the pot, and as flesh within the caldron."

"Heap on wood, kindle the fire, consume the flesh, and spice it well, and let the bones be burned. Then set it empty upon the coals thereof, that the brass of it may be hot, and may burn, and that the filthiness of it may be molten in it, that the scum of it may be consumed. She hath wearied herself with lies, and her great scum went not forth out of her: her scum shall be in the fire.

Strangely, Christianity doesn't stop short associating Jesus as the slayer of babies, women, and children, In the Bible, we found Jesus say:

Now, as for those enemies of mine who did not want me to be their KING, bring them here and KILL them in my presence! Luke 19:27

- The nobleman in the parable is Jesus, who left this world but who will return as King some day.
- The servants the king charges with a task represent followers of Jesus. T
- The enemies who rejected the king in the parable are representative of the Jewish nation that rejected Christ while He walked on earth—and everyone who still denies Him today.

Gill's Exposition of the Entire Bible

But those mine enemies,.... Meaning particularly the Jews, who were enemies to the person of Christ, and hated and rejected him, as the King Messiah; and rebelled against him, and would not submit to his government; and were enemies to his people, and were exceeding mad against them, and persecuted them; and to his Gospel, and the distinguishing truths of it, and to his ordinances, which they rejected against themselves: which would not that I should reign over them

So there you go, just a reminder how Christianity depicts Jesus.

Islam portrays Jesus in less complicated way.
- In Islam, Jesus is a noble prophet who submit to will of God.
- In Islam, Jesus is not responsible with the killings of babies of Amalek.
- In Islam, Jesus never ordered to kill all old and young, girls and women and little children.
