Islam as The Promoter of Just, Peace, and Kindness


# (Verily Allah enjoins justice and the doing of good, and liberality to kith and kin, and He forbids all shameful deeds, wickedness, and injustice and oppression. He admonishes you that you may take heed. [16:90]

# O people, spread peace, feed the hungry, and pray at night when people are sleeping and you will enter Paradise in peace. (Hadith)

# Accustom yourselves to do good if people do good, and to not do wrong even if they commit evil.” (Al-Tirmidhi)

# You will never have faith until you love each other. Shall I tell you what will make you love each other? They said, “Of course, O Messenger of Allah.” The Prophet said: Spread peace between yourselves. By the one in whose hand is my soul, you will not enter Paradise until you are merciful to others. They said, “O Messenger of Allah, all of us are merciful.” The Prophet said: Verily, it is not only mercy between yourselves, but rather it is mercy in general. (Hadith)

# The best of people are those that bring most benefit to the rest of mankind. (Hadith)

# I heard the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w.s.) say: ‘Whoever has been denied kindness has been denied all goodness (Hadith)

# Allah (S.W.T.) is Kind and loves kindness, and He rewards it in a way that He does not reward harshness, and in a way unlike any other. (Hadith)

# You shall invite to the path of your Lord with wisdom and kind enlightenment, and debate with them in the best possible manner. (Quran)

# Virtue and evil are not equal. If you replace evil habits by virtuous ones, you will certainly find that your enemies will become your intimate friends. (Quran)

# And do not let the hatred of a people prevent you from being just. Be just; that is nearer to righteousness.”(Quran)

# Make things easy, not difficult, and be cheerful, not threatening. (Hadith)

# Do not think little of any good deed, even if it is just meeting your brother with a cheerful countenance. (Hadith)

# The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: “The best charity is that given to a relative who does not like you. (Hadith)

# The one who keeps good relations is not the one who recompenses the good done to him. Rather, the one who keeps good relations is the one who does so despite having been cut off by them (Hadith)
